Saturday

The weather has really cooled down this week so its time to bring out the jackets! We've been steadily building our winter wardrobe over the past few weeks and it seems finally we can wear some of these pieces out. This week we picked up this jacket from Dotti. We were very pleased to find a jacket that fits this well as sometimes, particularly with this style of jacket, they can be very baggy and overwhelming especially if you're of narrow frame. We will be living in this jacket this season, its great for day or night and seems to look great with everything in our wardrobe. 

Courtney decided to wear our new Maurie and Eve Live tee. This top has that 1970's Bondi beach feel and is nice and casual, which is something we have been trying to find for quite some time as we have a shortage of tops in the wardrobe. 

This week were loving the silver tiki man bracelet. Its wild and something we wouldn't usually wear, however it really adds to the outfit and we always get a lot of complements about it. 

Friday The Thirteenth

These were the outfits we wore to dinner on friday night. There was a lot of Maurie and Eve worn by us and the girls at dinner it was fantastic, they really are special pieces.

Last Night

It was our 22nd birthday this week and it really was a week long celebration! We opened presents on tuesday (courtney couldn't wait), had our birthday lunch with friends on Wednesday (our actual birthday) and drinks on friday night.  We received so many birthday messages from our friends and feel extremely lucky to have such amazing people in our lives. We had a lovely night on friday, thank you to everyone who came to help us celebrate! 

The latest range from Maurie and Eve is in stores and it's AMAZING. We had to  make some hard decisions but we decided on the Vanilla Live tee and the black Liya Shorts. These pieces are quite different for us as we don't usually buy a lot of lace, however I can see us wearing these pieces throughout winter and into spring/summer as-well.

Courtney wore our new boots again today, they are so comfortable and seem to go with everything in our wardrobe, these are going to be well worn this winter. We're trying to step away from the grunge lace-up boot, which has been on the scene for quite some time and go for a more polished aesthetic. 
Miranda wore our favourite belt today. It's another one of those pieces which go with everything. It's over 30 years old and a vintage piece given to us by our mother. To this day we have never found another belt to replace it, so we will probably be working it for another 30 years!

style crush

Our new style crush is Austrian stylist Caroline Sieber. 
The grunge phase is getting a little tiring, and Caroline's style is a breath of fresh air. We love how put together and polished her outfits are. Her style is timeless and elegant and the rising hemlines on her skirts and dresses keeps it young and fun- its conservative cool!
