CARVEN Crush
New crush! If you know us- this is completely our style!
Carven is a french label developed in the 1940's for women who are "free and unshackled by convention" (they had us at unshackled).
Their designs are parisian-chic and we particularly love the shapes they have created and the perfect fit that each piece has. Perfection.
Get the look by buying similar styled tailored jackets, shorts and skirts which we saw in stores over the weekend here in Townsville.
Carven is available to buy on Net-a-Porter.
Matchy-Matchy
Matching separates are back! Haunting memories of your mothers 90's wardrobe aside, these ensembles are very minimal and chic- If your daring enough to pull it off!
Finally this style is beginning to appear in stores after many of the spring/summer collections showcased this look earlier in the year. This little floral ensemble appeared on Topshop this week and gave us the itch to go and look for some matching prints!

As Featured
As featured in the May edition of Australian Vogue. Now featuring in our wardrobe...
Sportsgirl felt hat $39.95
23/04/11
Miranda picked up the black boots from Stocklands the other day on sale, they are a great addition to our wardrobe as we are always on the hunt for boots which can be worn during the day as well as the evening. Very easy on the feet and for $40 they were very easy on the bank account too!
Courtney: Guess silk blouse, Maurie and Eve wrap skirt and betts wedges. Miranda: Wrangler singlet, cheap monday jeans, Boots from Dotti.

Festival fashion
Groovin' the Moo is just over a week away and these are some of our favourite festival looks which we're drawing inspiration from this year.
All of these looks are simple ideas which are comfortable and functional for a day on the grass (and a night in the mosh-pit.)
We are particularly loving ankle boots, felt hats and vintage T-shirts such as those worn by Agyness Deyn and Kate Bosworth.

All Flash, No Trash
Visited FLASHTRASH today and found some really amazing fashion! The store is busting with treasures (old and new), it just goes to show Townsville girls have style!
FlashTrash is a pre-loved clothing store in the newly developed Flinders St Mall that allows local girls to sell their old clothes for cash!
Here's just two of the awesome pieces we got today.
1. Vintage Leather Jacket $30 2. Converse High Tops- Black (New) $40
City Shopper
Took a break from study this morning and decided to head into the city to take our new sneakers for a walk (and do some shopping).
First stop was The Sweatshop for a coffee! The Sweatshop is the only supplier of Merlo coffee in Townsville and provides signature jaffles with combinations of fillings that would satisfy your wildest dreams! It's also home to a small gallery which showcases local artistic talent and provides wireless internet for it's patrons. This place is amazing! if you haven't already, check it out!

Street Style
New Shoes!
Love this style! These shoes can go from Sporty to Street in the change of an outfit. They are made from a soft denim fabric with a cool metallic sole. We have particularly been looking for shoes lately and these will be perfect for autumn/winter style. Can't wait to rock these ones out!
Diesel Nostalgia Sneakers- Available from ID Dezine
Nomads
We have spent the last few days in Mackay catching up with friends and family and realised just how much we miss the familiarity of our home town. Apart from eating almost every meal out (we pretty much ate around the world- Indian, Italian and Greek) we were able to fit in some last minute shopping before we left.
Mackay hasn't got the same variety of stores as our dearly beloved Townsville, but we were still impressed with the quality of the pieces we did find with some boutiques stocking, Lucette, Diesel, J Brand and Maurie and Eve.
After overpacking and a total of 8 hours spent in the car, we had ample time to discuss what we consider essentials for any traveller!
1. Comfortable clothing for drawn out periods in the car that doesn't compromise on personal style- soft denims and T-shirts that allows the easy transition from car to cafe!
2. iPod- complete with a mix of your favourite tracks of present and some golden oldies. Think Lionel Ritchie, Neil Diamond and Elton John (we will admit to listening to it!)
3. Camera- dont be afraid of taking the scenic route!
4. "Literature"- current issue of Vogue and other novels
5. Snacks. Personal favourite- Strawberry Freddo's

Hit List
We're on the HUNT!
Cheap Thrills
This was Courtney's outfit for work today!
We are have always gone cray-cray over Cheap Monday denim!
They tick all the boxes:
1. No cracking
2. Soft denim
3. Amazing fit
4. Edgy styles to die!
5. Cheap (monday-sunday)
This is one of our newest pairs, and we will be living in them for the entire season! One of our favourite looks at the moment are the oversized tailored shirts- cant get enough. This one has an edgy cut out at the back which is softened by lace to give a more feminine feel.
Azuki Shirt, Cheap Monday denim, Platform wedges from Betts
VB
Victoria Beckham is a force to be reckoned with. She continues to confound her critics with structurally flawless designs that have become some of the most covetable items of the season (if you can afford them!)
Her latest collections of clothing have sold out within hours of hitting stores and her bags had sold out on Net-a-Porter literally before i had received the e-mail to say they had arrived!
These are two of our favourite designs!
