DUO Double

This year we were both lucky enough to be selected as finalists in the DUO Magazine '12 Faces of DUO' competition. Last night the winners announcement party was held at 'A touch of Salt' a beautiful local restaurant positioned on the river in the middle of the city were we were offered the finest selection of Champagne and delicacy's of their locally acclaimed menu (that we managed to heartily enjoy after training the wait staff to make their first stop at our congregation).
We were dressed in pieces from the latest collection by Maurie and Eve. It is one of our favourite label's as their designs forever sophisticated with an edge. Just how we like it. 
Our night would not have been complete without our closest (and not to mention, most fabulous) friends Claire and Sacha to share it with and an inspiring fashion show from Stellar Moda which showcased some of their new season arrivals.
Whilst we weren't lucky enough to be one of the winners we received  bottles of champagne and a bag full of cosmetic goodies from DUO and their sponsors- how could we be sad about that! 


Special congratulations to the 12 winners! We are looking forward to seeing you on the cover's over the next year!

New Style!


We got our cut and coloured this morning at Beck Jane West. Miranda has been lusting after a fuller fringe and finally got it with a little extra blonde!

Beck always does a very polished job and we leave her salon 100% happy every time.
We always put together inspiration pages to allow her to understand exactly what kind of look we are going for and this month we were fascinated with Abbey-lee Kershaw and Freja Beha Erichsen.

Early Birds

Beach, Bircher and British Vogue!


We ventured down to the strand this morning to pick up a light breakfast after our daily gym session and what better way to start the day than with Bircher Muesli and British Vogue. 
Exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy diet is so important to us, its something we like to do every day. 
Most of us don't enjoy waking up any earlier than we have to. However, exercising in the early hours of the morning kick-starts your metabolism and allows you to burn more calories and continue burning throughout the day. 


So set your alarm and lace up your nikes, because nothing is more on trend than good health!

Saturday 


Saturday morning and were heading into another busy weekend of work, we love our job and it offers us a chance to work with some great people and great clothes.  Usually we try to dress comfortable-cool on the weekends in outfits which are fashion forward yet functional.


This playsuit is another great pre-loved piece we picked up at FLASH TRASH in Flinders Street Mall. We fell in love with it straight away as it fits perfectly in our wardrobe amongst the mix of grunge and classic chic pieces we collect.

Trying to decide what to do with our hair next week!
Because its coming up to winter we are opting for fuller fringes like Kate and Abbey. 
Kate Moss's hair is iconic- its something we always reference, it seems this super model can do no wrong. 
This photo is featured in the new Dior 'Addict' lipstick campaign and has re-kindled our love for of the fuller style fringes.

Piano Key Scarf

On our way to breakfast this morning to catch up with a friend. It poured down rain all day today so we had to take a quick snapshot inside before we left! Did some shopping and made a few phone calls to Melbourne- fingers crossed!
